Millions of people may be enjoying the online blasting action of Modern Warfare 3, but there’s no denying that there’s a couple of things with the game that are in need of some black magic, also known as an update. I swear this online malarky is witchcraft.
Anyway, the seventh title update for Modern Warfare 3 is going to be focused on sorting out the lag compensation, according to Robert Bowling via Twitter:
“TU7 is solely focused on addressing Host Disadvantage “Lag compensation”. To make gameplay better for better connections” He said. It’s just a shame you can’t patch the community, really. Anyway, the patch is due to hit sometimenext week.
In related news, Robert Bowling also confirmed, via Twitter again, that Modern Warfare 3 is getting some new modes: “Ready for new game modes for Modern Warfare 3? I’ve got some surprises for you for the weekend. I’ll confirm full details tomorrow!” He cheerfully tweeted. Personally I’m hoping for a Zombie style mode, but with Santa Clauses instead of the undead. Controversial? Yup. But strangely awesome? Yup.
