Borderlands, it can send shivers downs spines and it was a big success in 2009, selling over 2 million copies.
But they have done Zombies and they have done Horde mode, could there be anything else?
In a recent interview with IGN, Randy Pitchford stated:
“We are investing a lot of time in supporting the game with free updates and paid downloadable content. There will be some announcements on both fronts soon, I expect. We have a lot of motivation to do more with the game and have a lot of lessons we’re applying not only to our immediate efforts, but to our ambitions for the future. I don’t have anything specifics to announce at this time, though.”
“But thats not much evidence” I hear you cry, well just wait….
Jason Reiss ( a developer at Gearbox) posted this on Gearbox’s forum earlier today:
“After finalizing Zombies DLC, the team and I began reading the DLC feedback around the forums on the wants and desires. Guess what, level cap increase anyone? Got it and it’s awesome. Hopefully we can get a full announcement out to you guys soon but, man is this the biggest DLC we have made. So don’t worry, we are working really hard right now on both the update (that solves a bunch of issues) and the DLC. More to come guys!!”
Biggest DLC yet? level cap raised?
Bring it on!
