Castlevania’s revival in the form of Lords of Shadow was certainly a successful one, impressing both fans and critics alike, though not managing to sell as many units as would have been liked. Since then fans have been eagerly awaiting news of a sequel, but nothing has been forthcoming, until now!

French gaming site Live360 have apparently gotten word from some source that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will be announced at this years E3, presumably to one hell of a fan reaction. And that’s really about it as the site didn’t seem to have any other details, except that the developers

This is actually such a short news story that I briefly consider spinning some grand tale involving the developers having to battle vampires, travel the world and unravel a global conspiracy that somehow ties together the success of Justin Bieber with Coca-Cola, but frankly I couldn’t be arsed.

Hopefully Live360’s information proves to be true and we get the sequel we’re all hoping for.
