This weeks sales data for physical games in the UK has been published and with it comes the usual array of fun little stats and details to nerd out over.

Although its sales have dropped by another 20%, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has retained the top spot. It sat in the top slot for four weeks after its initial release and was then briefly usurped by Diablo 4. It went back up to number one for a short while before Final Fantasy 16 came out.

Nintendo have not officially revealed anymore sales numbers for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but considering it had surpassed 10 million sold in just 3 days I wouldn’t be surprised if its already at or around 15 million+.

Its worth remember, though, that this chart is for boxed sales which Nintendo typically dominates owing to the fact that digital sales are far stronger on the other consoles than physical sales.

Speaking of Diablo 4, it continues to drop quite quickly in the boxed sales but has managed to claw back 2 spots.

Meanwhike, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is enjoying 3rd place, doubtless bolstered by another wave of tracks and a few new characters arriving on July 12th.

Stars Wars Jedi: Survivor has managed to climb from 12th up to 7th, probably due to price drops boosting its sales.
