Now that GTA 6 has retreated to November of 2026, there’s a little more breathing room for everyone else. Still, it’s looking to be a packed year for big releases, especially in February through to March. 007 First Light was going to release on March 27th. But now, the developers have announced a delay.
007 Dying Light will now release exactly two months later on May 27th.
The devs made the statement on X, saying that “The game is progressing well and is fully playable from beginning to end, so these additional two months will allow us to further polish and refine the experience, ensuring we deliver the strongest possible version at launch. We’re confident this sets 007 First Light up for long-term success, and we sincerely appreciate the patience and continued support we’ve received ever since we revealed the game.”
While I have no doubt that the delay is to give the developers more time to work on the game, I also expect that it is at least partially to give 007 First Light room to breath.
