A few weeks ago Xbox announced it was capping the amount of cloud streaming hours Game Pass subscribers could get every month. At the same time, they revealed plans to allow non-Game Pass subscribers to buy streaming time. Which brings us to now.

Members of the Xbox Insider program have been given access to the new system ahead of its full launch so they can provided feedback. That means we also get a glimpse at the pricing structure.

  • 10hrs for $3.99
  • 25hrs for $7.99
  • 50hrs for $11.99

Apparently, there’s no time-limit for using these hours, so you can horde them for a while, according to what Xbox has said in its official post.

There is a caveat to the pricing, though; Xbox is referring to them as “introductory launch pricing” which indicates they might be changed once the full launch rolls around.

Meanwhile, there’s strong reporting that Game Pass is going to receive even more major changes that will let people pick and choose what they want from the service.
