Forza Horizon 6 will be shown off at the upcoming Xbox Developer Direct in just over a week, and it looks like the release date will getting announced at that event, because it just leaked inside Forza Horizon 5.
X user Xbox Infinite posted a screenshot of an in-game pop-up that appears to have been mistakenly triggered within Forza Horizon 5. If the pop-up is real and not a fake image, then it reveals that the game will launch on May 19, with early access starting on May 14 for anyone who purchases the Premium Edition.
VGC says that “Sources have told VGC this is the correct release window” in their article on the subject.
It also states that the game will feature over 550 cars and will include two premium expansions in the future.
However, before you get too excited, so far only this one random person is reporting to have seen the pop-up. Other websites have reported jumping into the game and being unable to find anything, and I can’t locate any other people on social media having encountered it. This could mean Playground Games spotted the problem quickly and the few people who spotted it haven’t bothered saying antying, or it could indicate it’s fake.
