God of War: Laufey might be launching in February or March. But take that with a pinch of salt.

Jason Schreier has recently launched a Youtube channel and already found plenty of success. In his most recent video, Schreier is discussing the topic of GTA VI scaring away all the other poor little videogames, when he casually drops this: ” I mean, I mentioned God of War: Laufey – I wouldn’t be surprised if that gets announced for February or March pretty soon.”

In Jason’s defense, his comment here seems more speculative than anything else, but the way he says it implies a level of confidence. Indeed, in the broader context of the video, I’d even hazard that God of War: Laufey was another game intended to launch around the end of the year and was pushed back to avoid the mighty GTA VI.

The bigger question might be whether Sony is going to try to charge $80 for Laufey, now that GTA VI has annnounced it’s launching at that price point.
