Call of Duty: Black Ops Rezurrection Map Pack Announced

Treyarch have decided that there are never enough zombies in the world, and so it was today announced that the new map pack, titled Rezurrection, would be all about those undead bastards that we just love to kill. The pack is going to contain five new Zombie  maps for you to sink your teeth into. Four of the  maps, “Nacht der Untoten”(Night), “Verruckt”(Asylum), “Shi No Numa”(Swamp), and “Der Riese”(Factory), are remastered and upgraded versions of the original World at War Zombie maps. These were previously only available to Black Ops players who purchase the Hardened or Prestige edition of the game. The final map in the pack is titled Moon, and, surprise, will be set on the shiny bright thing in the sky. Not the orange one, the other one. As you may well have imagined this is going to mean some slight changes to your tactics and plenty of cool new gameplay mechanics. Finally, they’ll be throwing in a free Moon theme for your Dashboard and the entire Zombies soundtrack, plus three brand new tracks.

And, as usual, you can also expect to find new secrets, weapons and plenty of cool stuff on your Zombie infested trip.

But wait, what if already own the Hardened or Prestige edition of Black Ops? You don’t want to pay the full 1200MSP asking price for that one new map, theme and soundtrack, right? Well, don’t worry because you’ll be getting the Rezurrection pack for FREE! That’s right, nadda. Nothing. Zip.

The Rezurrection Pack will be available on August 23rd for 1200MSP. Or free for you Call of Duty nuts.

Until then, enjoy these screenshots:
