New Xbox Live Dashboard on 6th December

It’s looking like the new Xbox Dashboard is set to be released soon – 6th of December actually. Some Xbox Live users have already been beta testing this for a month or so now but it seems Microsoft feels confident now to push it out worldwide.

The new dashboard, which is based on the new Windows Phone, will give users a whole host of new features including the much requested YouTube. Other new features include Cloud Storage, Bing search, a better integrated Facebook app, and there will be a whole host of live and on demand television which includes music, films and sport, plus the ever popular LoveFilm will be joining as well.

It seems to be that Microsoft are turning the Xbox more and more into a jack of all trades. Why can’t a games console just play games these days?
