EA Announce Second Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning DLC Expansion Pack

Hot on the heels of the Legend of Dead Kel expansion pack, EA have today announced a second chunk of downloadable content for the critically acclaimed Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, titled the Teeth of Naros. This new chunk of content  will introduce a long forgotten land called the Teeth of Naros, named after an ancient troll God. The Teeth of Naros is a harsh and brutal land, inhabited by the Kollossae, a new race of devout giants whose mysterious faith holds many secrets.

Of course along the way you’ll also get a chance to pick up some shiny new gear and check out the city Idylla which floats high in the sky above the Teeth of Naros. The full details on what to expect in the pack are as follows:

· A New City – Explore the city of Idylla, which magically floats in the sky above the Teeth of Naros featuring more than 20 side quests, multiple dungeons and a mysterious new race
· New Enemies and Dungeons – Players will take part in a crucible of faith and tribulation with new dangers and enemies as they journey through five enormous new dungeons
· New Twists of Fate and Items – Three new Twists of Fate, nine new armor sets, six new shields and 18 new unique weapons for players to choose from as they journey through this new world

It seems that 38 Studios and Big Huge Games understand the importance of good singleplayer content to keep fans happy, rather than the oodles of useless content we’re used to seeing clutter up the marketplace.

So far no pricing details have been announced, but it is likely that the pack will retail at the same cost as the Legend of Dead Kel. The pack to be available for download starting April 17th on Xbox 360 Marketplace, Playstation Network, Origin and Steam.
