Well, here’s something that doesn’t happen every day: Activision have announced that Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, the sequel to High Moon’s well received Transformers: War for Cybertron, has had its release date brought forward by an entire week. The game was originally scheduled to release in the US on August 28th and in the UK on August 31st, but now the US will get the game on August 21st with the UK getting it a few days later on August 24th.
“High Moon Studios has listened to the countless emails, tweets, user comments and Facebook posts from fans who are clamoring for the game to hit stores,” Activision said.
“They are so proud of their work that they cannot wait to get it into people’s hands the minute it’s ready.”
Well, I certainly can’t complain about getting some Transformers action a week early. And as a nice bonus they also released a new trailer showing Metroplex in action this morning, which you can view above.
