Full Details Of 1.7 Update For Skyrim – Now Live On Steam

Bethesda continue to support their fantasy behemoth with yet another title update, bringing the game up to version 1.7. They’ve just released the details of exactly what is in this update and well as announcing that the Beta version update is now available to download on Steam, with an Xbox 360 and PS3 release coming, though no exact days, as per usual, were given.

So what does this update do? Well, read on to find out:

BUG FIXES

  • General memory and stability optimizations
  • Fixed crash related to new water shaders
  • Fixed rare crash related to dragon landings
  • Fixed logic error with loading screens from add-ons (Xbox 360)
  • Using vampiric grip and swimming no longer prevents swimming animation from playing afterwards
  • Improved recognition with Kinect voice commands (Xbox 360)
  • Kinect-enabled dragon language shouts for French, German, Italian and Spanish work properly (Xbox 360)
  • Fixed issue with Dawnguard Kinect-enabled dragon shouts for French, German, Italian and Spanish (Xbox 360)
  • Fixed issue with Dawnguard Kinect-enabled dragon shouts for French, German, Italian and Spanish (Xbox 360)

Not a huge update that changes anything major, but rather just a few tweaks here and there, and of course anything that helps stabilise the game is welcome.
