EA and Take-Two today released their preliminary financial results for their first fiscal quarter which ended on June 30th. Buried within the mountains of information, details and statements from various people was a new release date for the hugely anticipated Bioshock: Infinite along with a release date for XCOM: Enemy unknown.
According the report, which also revealed that EA’s much hated Origin now has over 21-million users, Bioshock: Infinite is going to be released on February 26th, 2013. I don’t know about you lot, but frankly I can’t wait for Infinite to finally be released.
Also revealed in the report is that XCOM: Enemy Unknown will be getting released on October 13th of this year, so keep your eyes out for that!
Other information revealed by Take-Two is that sales for Spec Ops: The Line and Max Payne 3 were “lower-than-anticipated”, with Max Payne 3 so far selling 3-million copies.
Wow, short news post. Do me a favor and just pretend there was lots and lots more absolutely beautifully written text here that reveal all sorts of amazing things.
