UPDATE: Square Enix have now officially announced the Hitman HD Trilogy will be releasing on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 in American on January 29th and Europe on February 1st

The current trend of HD remakes is set to take its next victim as Amazon.com have just revealed the existence of a Hitman HD Trilogy on their website which includes Hitman: Contracts, Hitman 2:  Silent Assassin and Hitman: Bloody money.

“Experience more than 40 intense missions across 3 classic Hitman games, each re-mastered in glorious HD. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the franchise, this is your opportunity to take on the contracts that defined the series and fully established Agent 47 as the world’s deadliest assassin.” Reads the blurb on Amazon, presumably in some dramatic narration voice that booms across time and space.

Currently Amazon have got the US release date pencilled in as January 29, 2013 at a price of $39.99.  No mention of a UK release or price just yet, but fingers crossed.

The box art looks pretty nifty as well.

Anyway, get yourself geared up for a trip down memory lane, and in the mean time go and read my review of Hitman: Absolution. Do it. Now. Go. Click.
