Koch Media have today issued a press release officially confirming that they managed to acquire the rights to Saint’s Row and Metro yesterday in the closed-doors auction of THQ’s numerous assets. Along with those two IP’s they also managed to acquire Violition, the developers of the Saint’s Row games.
Apparently Deep Silver, Koch’s internation publishing “powerhouse”, will be leading all future developement of both the Saint’s Row and Metro franchises, which is hardly encouraging news given their track record.

Koch Media and Deep Silver will announce plans for both franchises in the coming months, promises the Press Release.
