It’s time to sharpen your blades as Bethesda have announced the second DLC pack for Dishonored, titled The Knife of Dunwall, will arrive on April 16th on Xbox 360 and PC, and on April 17th for Playstation 3.

In the Knife of Dunwall players will take on the role of Daud, the legendary assassin responsible for killing the Empress in the opening moments of Dishonored and ultimately sending Corvo on his journey of revenge. According to the press release after killing the Empress, Daude sets out on a quest for redemption, accompanied by his loyal Whalers. The mysterious Outsider will reveal the key to his atonement, “but who—or what—is Delilah?”

Playing as Daude you’ll be able to, “Employ a unique arsenal of new weapons and powers that enhance Dishonored’s dynamic combat, mobility and stealth systems”.  For example Daude can use Summon Assassin to call upon his Whaler buddies to help him out. He also has access to ChokeDust, which dazes opponents, can set Stun Mines and has a Wristbow which can fire either sleep darts or explosive darts – just make sure you don’t get them mixed up. He’ll also be able to use variations of already seen powers, like Blink.

You’ll also visit some brand new locations around Dunwall, including the Legal District and Rothwild Slaughterhouse. You’ll also revisit old locations, as well as get new a perspective on key moments from Dishonored.

Dishonored: The Knife of Dunwall will be available to download on April 16th for Xbox 360 and PC, and on April 17th for Playstation 3. It will cost 800MSP on Xbox 360, and $9.99 on PSN and PC.

Finally, the press release also confirms that Daud’s story will be completed in upcoming final add-on for Dishonored, titled The Brigmore Witches.
