Steam’s Tomb Raider Sale Is Nuts. Why Haven’t You Bought Them Yet?

TombRaider2013

Steam’s summer sale is in full swing with the third day presenting us with even more awesome deals that a re just begging to be snapped up by those with a bit of spare cash lying around, or possibly by those willing to sell their grandma on Ebay. One of the best deals on show today is the latest Tomb Raider game for just £7.49, which is an absolute steal!

But wait! Don’t click that purchase button just yet, because you can pick up the Tomb Raider Collection, which includes the 2013 Tomb Raider, for just £11.24! That’s Tomb Raider 1, Tomb Raider 2, Tomb Raider 3, Tomb Raider 4: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles, Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness, Tomb Raider: Legend, Tomb Raider: Anniversery and Tomb Raider: Underworld for under £12.

The latest in the Tomb Raider franchise impressed me greatly, delivering a stellar action title with a heavy focus on cinematic action. It did adhere a bit too much to modern conventions in terms of how heavily scripted it was for my tastes, but it was still a fantastic return to form for Lara Croft. And it goes without saying that the older games in the series are a piece of gaming history. At that kind of price how can you really say no?

  1. Hey Baden, Cool Blog! I bought Tomb Raider (latest version) when it was on the last Steam Sale for $12 I think. I’ve been too busy with DayZ, Project Zomboid, AC4, BF4… lol, the list goes on. From my reading it seems as though the graphics in the new Tomb Raider are pretty impressive, I have to try it in 3D.
