Rockstar’s behemoth is due to officially launch tomorrow with the Xbox 360 version of the game coming on two 8GB discs, the first of which must be installed in order for the game to work. However, Rockstar are advising players NOT to install the second “play” disc as doing so will apparently decrease the game’s performance, rather than increase it as one would expect.

“For optimal performance, we recommend not installing that disc. We will have more info on our Support Site at launch.” reads Rockstar’s official Twitter.

Exactly why this is happening remains a mystery, but presumably we’ll get answers tomorrow.

Speaking of which confirmation just arrived from Rockstar that review code for Grand Theft Auto V should arrive on my doorstep tomorrow. I honestly have no idea how long it’ll take me to get a review up as the game is vast and I want to try to be as comprehensive as my limited skills allow.
