Ubisoft have today announced that Trials Fusion will be released on April 16th for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4 and PC with a price tag of £15.99. Surprisingly they also announced that physical retail editions of the game titled Trials will be made available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on April 17th
In the same press release Ubisoft also revealed that on April 18th a season pass will be made available for Trials Fusion at the cost £15.99 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, although strangely the Xbox 360 was not mentioned in the announcement. According to Ubisoft the season pass will grant access to 6 chunks of planned DLC that will be released between the game’s launch and April, 2015. According to the company this will save season pass owners 30% in comparison to gamers who purchase the DLC separately. Each DLC pack will be adding, “new tracks, new bike parts, new rider gear, and new items for the ever-expanding world of Trials Fusion.”
Those who buy the boxed version of the game will get the season pass included. No price was mentioned for the physical version, but presumably it will be quite a bit more expensive than the digital download, given that you’re getting the season pass with it. While I can’t imagine them charging the full £40, an RRP of £25-30 would seem likely.
