Halo fans will finally be getting some news at E3 this year, according to Phil Spencer of Microsoft, but exactly what that news will be remains a mystery.

When questioned via Twitter as to when eager gamers could expect some news about the beloved franchise Phil Spencer replied thusly:

@MarvelousJoJo Halo news will be coming at E3. 343i has a great plan in place, will be cool to share with everyone.

Rumours of a Halo 2: Anniversary Edition have been circulating for some time now, so is Spencer referring to that? Or are we finally going to get some details on the Halo game teased last year? What we do know is that the teased game will run at 60fps and boast dedicated servers for its multiplayer, leading many to naturally assume it’s Halo 5. Hell,  maybe it’ll be both, a Halo news blowout.
