During their Gamescom briefing Microsoft announced that starting with Forza Horizons 2 Xbox One gamers will be able to pre-order digital games. Not exactly exciting, is it? After all, why would you pre-order a digital game? What would be the point?

Well, the point is that you’ll also be able to download the game you pre-order ahead of time. It’ll then be unlocked on launch day so you can start playing straight away. Huzzah, and such.
