This weekend on Steam you’ll be able to play ten games for free. The event officially starts October 16 at 10:00 a.m. PT (October 17 at 4:00 a.m. AEST), and during that time period you’ll be able to buy any of the games at a discount. Yes, this sadly means you don’t simply get to keep them. Once the event is finished you’ll have to give them up unless you fork out some cash.
The games are:
-
Awesomenauts
-
Blade Symphony
-
Company of Heroes 2
-
Don’t Starve
-
Grid 2
-
Injustice: Gods Among Us
-
Killing Floor
-
Payday 2
-
Trine 2
- XCOM: Enemy Unknown
Not too shabby a list. Although it has gotten quite a bit of criticism Company of Heroes 2 is well worth playing, as is Injustice: Gods Among Us. XCOM: Enemy Unknown is a truly brilliant strategy game that I cannot recommend enough.
Personally I might just try out Payday 2 as I liked the look out of it at launch, but never got the opportunity to check it out. Co-op bank robbing sounds fun.
