Just Cause 3 has been rumoured for some considerable time now, but lately those rumours have been quiet.

However today website Xbox Underground claims to have gotten leaked screenshots of Just Cause 3 running on the Xbox One. They offer no explanation behind the acquisition of the shots, only helpfully stating that they are “legitimate.”

Still, the shots, which are taken from a supposed debug version of the game, do look genuine, though these days it’s hard to tell. If they’re real then colour me excited. While Just Cause 2 had some big problems they weren’t enough to override the huge sense of fun the game provided.
