Start saving those pennies because according to the Steam page on Russian social networking site VK Steam’s infamous summer sale will begin on June 11th, at which point you can look forward to adding many more games to your virtual backlog.

According to the site the sale will rune until June 20th, followed by a two day encore sale that relists all of the best deals.

Presumably we won’t get the Steam Summer sale here in Scotland, though, because in Scotland there is no such thing as summer. It’s nothing but a myth told to small, gullible children to make them think life is living, when really it’s just an endless bleakiness of rain and occasional snow, the kind of weather that forges warriors.

But we do like a good bargain, mind.
