lout 4

Following a few days of teasing Bethesda have officially revealed Fallout 4. A teaser trailer was expected to be released to build-up to a bigger reveal at E3, yet surprisingly Bethesda have instead put out a 3-minute trailer offering a look at the game. We can still expect a 20-30 minute demo at E3, though, if rumours are to be believed.

The trailer confirms that the game will take place in The Commonwealth, a region previously described in Fallout 3 as being a,  “war-ravaged quagmire of violence and despair”. The trailer also indicates you’ll have a canine companion for company.

The trailer also shows the same teaser image that was put up mere hours before the reveal. The image had the tag, “welcome home”, so speculation has begun as to whether this will be some sort of HQ for players to return to between quests, or if it was just a general reference.

A small mistake earlier also resulted in us becoming aware that Fallout 4 will arrive on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, with no mention of last-gen consoles.
Regardless, Fallout 4 is finally happening. Let the hype begin.
