The developers behind Project Cars have just announced that their working on a Red Bull Air Race game, which is an intriguing prospect.

This year Slightly Mad Studios have courted a degree of controversey when they released Project Cars in a less than great state for Xbox One and PS4, and still haven’t released the Wii U version which they initially promised. They then courted more controversy when they announced Project Cars 2 shortly after launching the first game, leaving some fans angry since the studio was revealing a sequel so quickly without even fixing the bugs and glitches in Project Cars. Adding salt to the wound was the fact that Project Cars 2 will be funded using Slightly Mad’s crowd-funding platforming when many felt that with the success of the first game it wasn’t needed.

I have to say I’m looking forward to this. It’s due for release next year exclusively on PC.
