Rebellion have revealed that the next game in their successful Sniper Elite series will be launching some time this year on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. They also released a short teaser trailer to get audiences hyped.

This will be the first game in the series to be solely based on current-gen hardware, although the trailer doesn’t seem to show a massive jump in visuals.

While the Sniper Elite games have never set the world ablaze with their brilliance they have nevertheless developed a good following, and rightfully so as I actually really enjoyed Sniper Elite 3, pointing out that while it was a heavily flawed game it was also a lot of fun.
