Following delays and much confusion among the Steam forums Focus Home Interactive have confirmed Battlefleet Gothic: Armada’s new release as April 21st.

Currently if you buy the game on Steam you get access to the beta, which includes a few singleplayer missions, skirmish and multiplayer, and three factions to fight as. A review of the full game will be coming nearer the time, and a preview based on the beta is possible.

If you have no idea what Battlefleet Gothic is, it’s based on the old Warhammer 40k tabletop game where huge spaceships clashed in space. There’s no base building, rather it’s all about micro-managing your ships to achieve victory.
