During their official press conference before E3 gets underway (and I’m therefore counting it as part of E3) Bethesda unveiled a new Quake game titled Quake Champions. No actual gameplay was shown, but it seems fairly clear that it’s going to be a hero-based shooter in the same vein as Overwatch, which seems to be this generation’s “brown military FPS”.

No launch date was announced, but Bethesda did decide to tell us that it would be coming to PC with unlocked framerates and a 120Hz refresh rate.
