(E3 2016) Gwent Is Going To Be A Standalone Game

Having already been leaked CDProjekt Red took to the stage at Microsoft’s conference to confirm that Gwent, the card game from The Witcher 3, is going to become a full stand-alone release with multiplayer support and singleplayer.

While it was a bit odd to see a card game taking such a prominent place at the conference, the crowd loved it just because they damn well love CDProjekt Red. And who can blame them?

A closed beta for the game will start in September, available first for Xbox One and PC, thereby hinting that it’ll turn up for other platforms, too. Like Hearthstone you’ll also be able to use a console to play with PC gamers, too.
