Christmas is nearly a wrap here in the UK, and I wanted to take a minute to wish all of you a wicked awesome Christmas.
It has been a tough year, and I know that many of you amazing people out there might not have been able to spend Christmas with family for a variety of reasons, be it because of Covid or lockdowns or travel restrictions or even just because you maybe don’t get along with your family. To you guys, I raise my glass. Take care out there and hold on. We’re going to get through this crap. And at least there’s lots of awesome games to play, right?
Seriously, though, if you are feeling lonely or stressed or anxious, there are people out there who want to help and want to listen. I’m one of them. I can’t do much, but if you just want to chat, get in touch. I’d love to shoot the breeze with you.
I got pretty lucky with my Christmas. I was able to see my nieces opening up their presents on Christmas Eve. It was a real pleasure to see their reactions to their new skateboards. I’m expecting at least five broken bones by next week, and a trip to A&E within the month. You aren’t trying properly if it doesn’t hurt. And this evening I watched Klaus with my mum which turned out to be one of the best Christmas movies I’ve ever seen. Its on Netflix, so if you have the opportunity I highly, highly recommend it. The animation is sublime, the acting is terrific and the story is genuinely touching.
As for new content, I’ll be doing the obligatory Game of the Year stuff, but in a different format for this year. That, and I intend on eventually reviewing Cyberpunk 2077 if the damn thing ever stops crashing.
So, Merry Christmas, my friends. As always, I love you guys, and thank you so much for visiting my site and making me a very happy gamer.
