Souls-like action game Lies of P is getting a sequel, confirms the game’s director Ji Won Choi, as well as DLC.

Following its launch in September for Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC, Lies of P has done very well for developer Neowiz. Despite being available on Game Pass, Lies of P has already managed to sell over 1 million copies and earned itself a pretty impressive score of 82 on review aggregator Opencritic.

Inspired by the classic tale of Pinochio, Lies of P featured an end-credits scene which heavily hinted at a sequel. Now the game’s director has confirmed that a sequel is already in the works, along with some DLC. Speaking in a special Director’s Letter video, Ji Won Choi said: “Our highest priority is developing the DLC and working on our sequel. The dev team is putting in significant effort, brainstorming and exploring different aspects of the projects.”

Neowiz also released two screenshots that tease the upcoming DLC. The first depicts a large ship that that is either a shipwreck itself or ramming another ship that is in far better condition. The second shows a much more industrial scene filled with machinery.

If there’s any Lies of P fans out there, let me know if either of these images provide hints at what the DLC might be about.
