PlayStation fans rejoice, it’s time for another State of Play! It’ll be taking place on June 2, 2026. It’s worth mentioning that Sony doesn’t typically announce State of Plays weeks in advance, so maybe that’s a sign that it will be big show?

According to Sony, the show will be 60+ minutes long and will kick-off with a look at Insomniac’s upcoming Wolverine game. Specifically, the official PlayStation blog post mentions getting to see the “brutal and relentless” combat system, along with other details ahead of its September 15 launch.

Unfortunately, nothing else was mentioned, so we will just have to wait and see what pops up.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t speculate, right? I would assume that Marvel Tokon is almost guaranteed to appear at the show, perhaps with a few more character reveals. Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet has been quiet for a while, so maybe a little gameplay?

I’m also kind of expecting to see and hear from both Fairgames – the live-service title that doesn’t sound like it’s shaping up very well – and Horizon Hunters Gathering.

As for third-party, who knows? The possibilities are endless.
