Onimusha: Way of The Sword will be the first mainline entry in the series in two decades, and Capcom’s last release in what has been a really strong year for the publisher. And now, we have a release date. Potentially.
The information comes from asdf on X. Not a hugely known name, but the account has proven itself by leaking numerous Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced images, as well as leaking both the Rayman Legends Retold and Rayman Origins Enhanced Edition.
According to asdf, Onimusha: Way of The Sword will release on September 25. At first, asda actually said the 26th, before then admitting to a typo.
asdf also mentioned that this is old information, so it could be outdated.
It is worth mentioning that while asdf has dropped several sizable leaks, so far that information leans heavily toward Ubisoft, so take the prediction with a pinch of salt.
Onimusha 3: Demon Siege and Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams have not been officially announced to get the remaster treatment, but so far Capcom has done the previous games and indicated that they are interested in doing the same with Demon Siege and Dawn of Dreams.
