Cyberleek, the anonymous person or group behind a series of GTA 6 leaks, says the leaks are stopping “for now” and that a claimed full playable build of the game won’t be released after their cryptocurrency failed to reach a $30 million market cap.
The announcement comes alongside another roughly four-minute video, this time showing Lucia getting a haircut, robbing a shop and playing pool. It also includes a sequence that Cyberleek suggests contains footage from the game’s final missions, although exactly what we’re seeing is difficult to establish. I’ll get into the footage below, after a potential spoiler warning. Don’t worry too much, though, as it really doesn’t show anything I would deem as a story spoiler.
In a three-part statement posted to their website on October 14, titled The End of the Road, Cyberleek addresses the earlier promise to release a playable build if the token reached a $30 million valuation. It is currently sitting at about $1.03 million, so not even close.
“The 30M was not reached, so no build,” they write. “Uploading 200+ GB anonymously is a serious risk – worth it only if the milestone funded the secret project. Terms honored as written.”
To be clear, that target was the token’s market capitalisation, rather than $30 million in donations directly received by Cyberleek. Their possession of a complete playable build also remains a claim, even with the footage they’ve been releasing.
Cyberleek also claims to have the game’s ending and to have considered publishing it, before deciding that doing so would spoil the experience for players who had done nothing wrong. That would explain their apparent reluctance to release major story spoilers despite repeatedly threatening Take-Two. Everything we’ve seen from them so far has been mostly harmless: little snippets of side missions, lots of freeroam gameplay.
However, they say a “dead man’s switch” remains active and would release story spoilers. “Left alone, it never fires. Whoever removes CL chooses it,” the statement reads. What “removes” means here is unclear. I assume if they get arrested and taken to court or something.
Much of the remaining message is devoted to defending the cryptocurrency. Cyberleek says they sold twice, only withdrawing trading fees as previously announced, and blames other sellers for the subsequent collapse because they panicked and pulled out. They reject accusations of a rugpull and say their transactions can be checked on the blockchain.
They also insist the token was always presented as a donation, with no financial returns promised. My recollection of their earlier messaging is that they were fairly clear on that point: the money was supposedly going toward a vague secret project connected to their wider campaign against industry practices. But since the super secret project has presumably not been funded, it doesn’t look like Cyberleek plans on giving the cash back, either.
THE END OF THE ROAD (1/3)
CL sold twice. Both times: trading fees only, as always announced. The first sale caused a cascade: everyone else sold, and CL was blamed for the crowd’s dump. The chain is public: what CL holds, sold, and delivered. What was promised was kept. The token was always a donation, never an investment. No returns promised, none implied. Rugpull talk comes from people who never opened the chain. Mostly YouTubers. Do not trust them. They have no idea what they are talking about.

THE END OF THE ROAD (2/3)
CL has the ending. It was considered. It would punish Take-Two greatly – but ruin the experience for the gamers, who did nothing wrong. Take-Two would show CL no mercy – why should CL show any to them? Still: Take-Two was punished enough. The ending stays unpublished. Proof: the latest leek – clips from the final missions, out of context, revealing nothing. | The dead man’s switch is active – story spoilers only. Left alone, it never fires. Whoever removes CL chooses it.

THE END OF THE ROAD (3/3)
The 30M was not reached, so no build. Uploading 200+ GB anonymously is a serious risk – worth it only if the milestone funded the secret project. Terms honored as written. | Sad, the negativity – and how few believe anything real is behind this. CL was transparent about the token from day one: a donation, never an investment. It changed nothing – influencers decided the story before the facts arrived. | The Edict stands. The leeks stop here. For now. | — CYBERLEEK
Personally, handing money to an anonymous person claiming access to stolen game material and promising a mysterious project was always going to require a considerable leap of faith. Like, Assassin’s Creed levels of leaping.
The statement ends with: “The Edict stands. The leeks stop here. For now.” It reads like a goodbye and the latest leaked footage does support that idea, kind of. But those final words leave plenty of room for Cyberleek to come back anyway.

Potential GTA 6 spoilers below. I won’t upload or embed the leaked footage for obvious reasons, but the following describes what appears in the new video, including a sequence Cyberleek suggests is from the final mission/s.
The video opens with Lucia entering a barbershop wearing a motorcycle helmet. We get a brief look at a selection of hairstyles and their prices, including cornrows, before she settles on straight, bright pink hair. Don’t Stop Believin’ plays over the footage, clearly added in by Cyberleek as the regular game audio and music continues playing in the background.
There’s plenty of detail inside the shop, with country flags on the walls and customers playing dominoes while checking their phones. Lucia then attacks the man at the till, giving us another short look at melee combat. A notification helpfully explains that the staff won’t provide services right now. Fair enough, really. One of them is unconscious, after all.
She then robs the till, pulling out the drawer before grabbing and pocketing the money. A monster truck is parked outside, although the clip doesn’t show whether Lucia arrived in it. I’m going to assume she did, because who the hell parks a random monster truck on the road if not Lucia?
The footage jumps to a rustic-looking bar, where Lucia plays a pool minigame. It looks much as you’d expect, with shots lined up around the table, and she wins $10. The interior is again packed with posters and other decorations. There’s a lot of detail of in this game.
Next comes a clothing shop, where Lucia tries on sports jerseys, including a bright pink Vice City Narcos design and another bearing the Manatees name. The player also browses trousers and tops by interacting with different clothing displays. A menu option appears to let you show or hide her equipped body armour. It’s all very life-sim, much like how Red Dead Redemption 2 had you shop for items by physically browsing through them in stores.
The button prompts again appear as plain white circles in this footage, reinforcing the idea that this is a developer build from a year or two ago rather than the full retail build that will be launched next month.
Finally, the video cuts to a series of slow scenic shots, with mission title “The End of the Road” appearing in the bottom-right corner as the camera moves over a bridge toward a town. We see a establishing shot montage, including a slow helicopter pan across beachfront properties, a location labelled Key Lento, cyclists, a large bird on a beach and views of illuminated waterfront buildings at night and a city in the distance. Further shots show a suburban street with an approaching car and a large building that looks like a big gallery or something.
The sequence has the feel of an ending or credits montage. Previous GTA games have used similar views of their worlds during the credits, but neither that resemblance nor the title establishes that this is GTA 6’s final mission. Cyberleek describes the latest leak as clips from the final missions shown out of context; for now, that’s their claim rather than something we can verify from these shots alone, because all the actual gameplay looks like generic openworld action.
The clip ends exactly as the lyrics “Don’t stop” are belted out. Basically, the whole thing is a reference to The Sopranos.
So, is this the end of Cyberleek? Are they riding off into the sunset, or will they be back tomorrow with something else? Who the hell knows. But regardless of how you feel about the situation, it has certainly been interesting.
