After disappearing for quite a while, CyberLeek sure has come back with a bang! This time it’s just over 5 minutes of Lucia free roam gameplay, giving us a glimpse at…er, a lot.
It goes without saying that with the game coming out next month, you should probably just stop reading and wait for it. There are no story spoilers in the leaked footage, which I’m about to discuss. The video is out there, but I’d advise you to be careful when looking for it as there will undoubtedly be a host of fake versions packed with malware.
Still here? Alright, the first and most obvious thing is that Lucia is completely nude in the footage, so at least she’s getting the same treatment as Jason did in the 25+ minutes of leaked gameplay from a few days back. Equality is important, after all.
NPCs do not react to Lucia wandering around without clothes. This is partly why I’m still dubious that the actual game will give you the option to walk around nude. CyberLeek may only be able to do it because he/she/they have a dev build.
Lucia rocks up in a vintage-style car, gets out and shows off her walking animation, which I’m sure is currently being replayed the world over. She heads over to an ATM and gets in a quick fight with an NPC, showing a vicious backhand slap before shoving the NPC into a wall. Interestingly, there are proper animations for the NPC hitting the wall and slumping over. It’s an impressive detail in a game already full of them.
Anyway, Lucia is doing some sort of parachuting-based side quest involving “Dacity Coin” cryptocurrency for Auda-City. CyberLeek demonstrates they still can’t play the game for shit, and winds up getting Lucia killed. Kudos to the voice actress’ scream, because it sounds genuinely real.
The whole thing ends up with an advert for the ingame Buck Me banking app, and it’s genuinely quite funny.
The whole scenario continues to be fucking crazy. CyberLeek is still most likely scamming people out of their money, having previously said ‘donations’ would be used to fund some super secret project to threaten other developers into bringing back physical games, ending day-1 DLC and more, and is now threatening to either leak the full playable build of the game or release a video walkthrough of the entirety of the game – it’s a little unclear.
GTA 6 launches next month.
