It seemed for a while there that Cyberleek had vanished into the mists of time, potentially taking a load of people’s money with them. But now, Cyberleek is back with a new chunk of GTA 6 footage .
There’s no story details in the footage as best as I can tell, but if you’d rather avoid anything even potentially spoilery, just stop reading now.
Probably the biggest part to come out of this leak is that the game might have a first-person mode. At one point, Jason is driving around in first-person, and then gets out of the car and keeps going in first-person. Now, if this is a dev build of the game Cyberleek is dicking around with, this might not be in the full game, so don’t take it as gospel truth. It did look a little rough in places.
The other notable thing is that Jason is ambling around his little Jason flapping in the wind, if you get my drift. Recently we did learn that full nudity is in the game, as IGN confirmed in one of their previews Jason was baring all in a shower at one point. And a ratings leak also confirmed there would be sex scenes in the game.
It’s unclear exactly how much the game is going to show, then. Cyberleek’s little demo indicates you can amble around naked, although interestingly when the footage swaps over to Lucia, she’s wearing a bikini bottom and nothing on top, but the camera never spins around to show her off.
Again, then, it might just be because it’s a dev build of the game, letting Cyberleek cock around with settings and options not available in the regular game. Or you will actually be able to give the world a full-frontal show while you cause chaos.
Other gameplay shown off was a dirtbike race and a car race, another cutscene and some general open-world nonsense. It all looks very impressive.
Leading up to the release of the footage, Cyberleek posted a new poll where the only two options were both question marks, and users had to vote by buying the Cyberleek crypto coin. In other words, Cyberleek is continuing the apparent crusade and asking people to “donate” to aid the cause, but more likely you’re going to get your cash taken and nothing in return for the effort.
The leaked footage is available online, but if you decide to go looking for it, be careful. There’s a load of fakes already running around containing stuff that will seriously damage your machine or harvest a lot of your data. And with the full game available next month, is there much point risking spoilers?
There’s also a chance this is somehow yet another Cyberleek fake. Plenty of those are running around. Hell, I got fooled by one just last month claiming to be planning to release a full build of the game.
I can hear the Rockstar snipers gearing up from here.
