  • Hundreds of Discovery shows will be deleted on PlayStation, and unwatchable even if you paid for them

Hundreds of Discovery TV shows will disappear from PlayStation and become unwatchable even if you paid for them. It’s the exact scenario proponents of physical media have worried about – digital content simply vanishing, and sadly it seems many people don’t yet understand how digital rights work.

  • December is a little slower for video game releases – here are all the games coming out in December 2023

2023 has been a crazy year for games. Each month has been stacked with amazing games for every platform, from a brand new 2D Mario to Bethesda’s first new IP in years to the long-awaited return of Alan Wake. Click here to see what December has in store.

  • Far Cry 6 coming to Game Pass in December, along with a host of other titles

The official Xbox site has announced everything coming to Xbox Game Pass in December and it’s a pretty spectacular list.

  • Ubisoft announces Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition

Well, someone is in some serious trouble over at Ubisoft after they accidentally released an unannounced Beyond Good & Evil remaster titled Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition. The game briefly appeared on the Xbox storefront, and Ubisoft+ subscribers also reported it being downloadable and playable.

  • Embracer confirms that Free Radical may be shut down by Christmas

The sinking ship known as Embracer is still fighting to save itself from complete disaster, now some 6 months into its massive restructuring plan which has so far seen over 900 people lose their jobs and multiple studios, such as Volition, closed. Even more jobs have been reported to have been lost just today.

Nearly 4 years after its release, Red Dead Redemption 2 just hit its highest-ever concurrent peak player count on Steam, managing to get a whopping 77,655 living out their cowboy fantasies. At the time I’m writing this, 13:15 in the UK on a Monday, there are 63,094 people riding around.

  • Nickelodeon’s All-Star Brawl 2 Review

Fair Play Games is back with a second attempt at taking Nickelodeon’s nostalgic properties and smashing them together in a platform brawler. Nickelodeon’s All-Brawl 2 is actually a lot better than the first game, improving the fighting mechanics, adding in a fun campaign mode and sporting a solid, albeit sometimes confusing, roster of characters. The…

  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake is alive! Maybe

At this point, the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake has more twists and turns in its tale than Anakin Skywalker’s life story. It was originally being developed by Aspyr but seemingly got handed over to Saber Interactive, and then in September Sony, who was helping fund the project, began to delete all…

  • Shadow Gambit DLC launches on December 6th, will be Mimimi Games final ever release

In a year packed with amazing triple-A releases that are review well and selling like cocaine-laced cupcakes its easy to forget about the smaller but equally awesome games like Shadow Gambit. The real-time tactics features supernatural pirates sneaking/murdering their way through brilliantly designed level. I gave it a glowing review and strongly recommend it.
