Ep. 16 Of the Podcast Is Live – Come Read It!

Crash Team Racing Nitro- Fueled Review – 1st Place

The passing of time tends to erode a game. A lot of the time an old game we have fond memories of doesn’t feel so good when we dust it off and play it in 2019, which is understandable because of the technical limitations of the time. But there are some games whose gameplay mechanics are so damn refined, so bloody good that even today they feel amazing. As this remake proves Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is one such game, a kart racing series that sadly fizzled out while Mario Kart carried on. But now its back with a fresh lick of paint and ready to take top spot on the podium.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Review – The Old Dog Has Learned New Tricks.

Last years Call of Duty: Ghosts was a low point for the series with a dull campaign and multiplayer that ignored the efforts of Treyarch’s Black Ops II to move the franchise forward. This has left newcomer Sledgehammer Games with the task of cleaning up the mess, and to a large degree they’ve done just so, and in the process painted Infinity Ward, the developer responsible for making Call of Duty a household name, as the weakest of the three teams now tasked with working on the series.
