The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has been a disaster thus far, becoming the worst reviewed game of the year on both Opencritic and Metacritic. I have it sitting in my Steam library and do intend on reviewing it myself, but after browsing through the various opinions of other people, I may choose to keep my sanity intact, thank you very much.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is the worst reviewed game of 2023 so far
Much like the titular character himself, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum’s life has been long and tortured. Originally announced back in 2019 by, it has been delayed several times from its initially planned 2021 release. Early trailers didn’t exactly illicit an excited response from gamers which might explain why it has released today to deafening silence. Seriously, did anyone remember this was coming out? I didn’t.
