This morning Logitech just launched a new gaming mouse named the G302 Daedalus Prime, which is being marketed toward MOBA players and has been tested by Team SoloMid, Cloud9, CJ Entus Frost, CJ Entus Blaze, and Invictus Gaming.
“We built the Logitech G302 to meet the performance needs of the best eSports athletes in the world,” said Vincent Tucker, director of Logitech gaming. “The G302 is the best mouse for MOBA gameplay combining comfort and durability with some of the most advanced technology available. It withstands the rigors of the highest levels of gaming, and enables extremely fast clicking and precise timing, which is critical, given that a victory or loss can be determined in milliseconds.”
According to Logitech the mouse features a metal spring tensioning system under the left and right clicks to provide more responsive feedback, and will be capable of registering up to five clicks per second. That’s on top of being tested up to 20-million clicks, making it pretty durable.
The mouse also sports six programmable buttons along with four DPI settings that can be accessed on the fly.
Finally it will use Logitech’s Delta Zero™ sensor technology.
Personally I’m not a MOBA player, but it looks like a solid mouse, and importantly sports an affordable pricetag of £39.99. The G302 will be available in November in the U.S. and Europe. Stay tuned for a review in the future.
